Job Description

This is a great opportunity for an experienced voice engineer to work with an experienced team on key strategic projects for an enterprise organization. The voice architect/engineer will focus on a large voice system migration from Avaya to Five9’s as well as help to support the current voice environment. This role will help to lead the strategy of this migration and work with various teams in IT as well as the business to make sure that all requirements are considered. If voice engineering is your passion, and you are interested to work with a collaborative team on key organizational initiatives, this is the role for you.

Job Responsibility

  • Focus on a large voice system migration from Avaya to Five9’s
  • Help to support the current voice environment
  • Help to lead the strategy of this migration and work with various teams in IT as well as the business to make sure that all requirements are considered

Requirements

  • Must have 5+ years’ experience in voice architecture/engineering
  • Must have strong experience in implementing Five9’s Virtual Contact Center (VCC) and Verint Workforce Management
  • Must have experience with Avaya and ideally experience moving an organization from Avaya to Five9
  • Must be able to help drive the direction and strategy for the project initiative from an engineering perspective
  • Must be able to work with the technical teams, the business, and the 3rd party Five9 implementation team
  • Must be able to be hands on in keyboard work to make call flows
  • Must be able to support testing or integration between CRM’s and Five9’s
  • Must be able to write standard operating procedures (SOP’s) to support operations on the new platform
  • Must be able to work with the business to work through requirements or new feature use cases
  • Must have experience migrating from one voice system to a new voice system
  • Must be a self-starter who can work independently but also with a team with little oversite
  • Must have the ability to learn from documentation and be able to communicate effectively
  • Must be able communicate with various IT teams as well as business stakeholders on occasion
