We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Hindley, working as a Vocational Skills Curriculum Manager, managing the vocational curriculum. The team consists of catering, construction, barbering, cleaning and self-employment.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Teaching qualification - minimum Cert Ed or PGCE
  • Have a Degree or equivalent (including equivalent life /career experience)
  • Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
  • Have a track record of implementing continuous quality assurance procedures
  • Have a track record of successful partnership working
  • Have effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have an ability to motivate and enthuse teams
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational skills to prioritise workload and meet challenging deadlines and targets
  • Have an ability to analyse trends and identify impact on curriculum
  • Have good IT Skills
