Job Responsibility

Supporting the Shift Manager to ensure the effective running of the Chilled Warehouse operation on a 4 on 4 off shift rotation
Ensuring that products are picked according to the production plan in a timely manner to ensure no downtime, working in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, food safety legislation and quality standards specified by our customers
Ensuring an efficient, accurate storage and stock control operation is provided up to the point of distribution to the factory and a clear process off scanning the product at point of return to a location is followed
Product Despatch: Responsible for the timely and accurate despatch of chilled product
Oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and accurate, timely despatch of goods
Fulfil customer order requirements
Fulfil customer shelf-life requirements i.e. minimum days into depot
Achieve depot delivery times
Despatch in accordance with customer / site codes of practice
Despatch frozen product as required
Intake materials for Factory production ensuring that they are fully booked in a timely manner and correct totals

Ideally have previous Forklift experience, VNA, Reach or Counterbalance licences
Experience of working in Warehouse or despatch departments
Experienced in scanning
Familiar with stock systems and or stock taking processes
Computer literate
Ability to prioritise, achieve deadlines and make decisions
Computer literate in MS Office

Role is subject to medical approval
Able to work at 13 Metre Heights and must go through and meet the requirements of an extensive training programme
