Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solutions Architect to help shape and drive enterprise infrastructure strategy, architecture, and technical initiatives. In this role, you will influence the development of Information Services strategy, guide infrastructure design and solution architecture, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, business-aligned technology solutions. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the project lifecycle, with a strong focus on planning, feasibility, analysis, and execution. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in infrastructure design and implementation, enterprise architecture, and technical leadership, along with hands-on expertise in VMware, automation, and modern infrastructure technologies. This role requires the ability to analyze business needs, recommend infrastructure solutions, support technical roadmaps, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards, policies, and strategic objectives. Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder influence skills are essential, as this position works closely with leadership, project teams, and technical partners to drive innovation and operational excellence.

Job Responsibility

  • Contribute to infrastructure architecture strategy and enterprise-wide technology initiatives
  • Lead technical initiatives that support business and Information Services objectives
  • Guide the design, development, and implementation of infrastructure architecture solutions
  • Provide architectural guidance to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business goals
  • Support project management activities, including planning, coordination, and execution
  • Monitor project scope and help manage scope changes or deviations
  • Perform systems analysis and design to support infrastructure and enterprise solutions
  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to improve information systems and infrastructure support models
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for enterprise infrastructure strategy, planning, and solution design
  • Provide strategic oversight to ensure infrastructure components are designed in alignment with enterprise standards and long-term architecture direction

  • Evaluate business processes related to infrastructure management and support to drive operational improvements
  • Ensure infrastructure development and integration efforts consistently follow established enterprise architecture principles and governance standards

Requirements

  • 8+ Years of VMWare suite of products
  • Must Have Experience with VMWare 8 and 9
  • Must have Automation Experience with VMA to include Ansible experience

Nice to have

  • Strong communication skills
  • Microsoft Copilot experience is highly preferred
