Job Description:

This role is crucial in analyzing our existing VMware environment and providing recommendations for potential upgrades or transitions to other platforms like Proxmox or Nutanix. Responsibilities of the role include evaluating and assessing the existing VMware environment, consulting on potential upgrades, leveraging hypervisor replication expertise, maintaining an agnostic approach to hypervisors, and more.

Job Responsibility:

  • Evaluate and assess the existing VMware environment to determine its efficiency and effectiveness
  • Consult on potential upgrades to the latest VMware version or transitions to other platforms such as Proxmox or Nutanix
  • Leverage hypervisor replication expertise to recommend optimal solutions for the client's technological infrastructure
  • Maintain an agnostic approach to hypervisors to ensure the best technological fit for the client's needs
  • Use previous consultancy experience in VMware and hypervisor replication to provide informed, strategic advice
  • Leverage knowledge of storage replication to provide additional insights into potential infrastructure improvements
  • Utilize expertise in VMware Infrastructure and VMware Technologies to deliver comprehensive analysis and recommendations

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in VMware, with the ability to design, implement, and manage virtual environments
  • Extensive knowledge of VMware Infrastructure, including planning, deployment, and maintenance tasks
  • Proficiency in VMware Technologies, with the ability to leverage these technologies to optimize business operations
  • Solid understanding of Hypervisor technologies, with the ability to manage and troubleshoot these systems effectively
  • Experience with Data Replication techniques, ensuring data integrity and availability across multiple platforms
  • Ability to implement and manage Replication processes, ensuring data consistency and reducing data redundancy
  • Expertise in Storage Replication, with the ability to design and manage storage systems to ensure data safety and accessibility
