Job Description

Our client, a leading technology vendor, is in need of a VMware Build Engineer for a 9 month contract engagement.

Job Responsibility

  • Deployment and integration of 3rd party products in services in a greenfield datacenter environment
  • Deploying, updating and interacting with VMs
  • Building out a net new system
  • Integrating multiple technologies

Requirements

  • Extensive VMware experience
  • Expert Linux Skills
  • Working knowledge with container platforms (preferably Kubernetes)
  • Ability to travel up to 30% as needed domestically
  • Experience installing, patching and configuring software and virtualization products on top of HPE software
  • Experience building infrastructure including OS Image Lifecycle, STIG processes and troubleshooting and debugging issues
