First Level University degree (technical or non-technical) or equivalent experience
6-8 years experience in relevant technologies and customer environments
Expert knowledge of VMware vSphere
Experience with VMware NSX
Knowledge of Storage technologies (SAN, NAS, iSCSI)
Experience with HPE Nimble Storage preferred
Cloud Management Platform Architecture knowledge
Cloud Management experience with Morpheus
Application Management experience
Automation skills with VMware vRealize Automation, Ansible, Puppet

Job Responsibility

Design, implement, and maintain private cloud infrastructure (virtual machines, storage, network components)
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to private cloud infrastructure (performance, security)
Automate routine tasks and processes using scripting and automation tools
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Work collaboratively with other IT teams to ensure proper integration of private cloud systems
Develop and maintain documentation of private cloud infrastructure
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support
Provide customer service and technical support to internal and external clients
Mentor and train junior team members

Ensure stability and optimal performance of cloud environments
Mentor junior engineers
Supporting and troubleshooting complex Vmware/Virtualization issues in complex and widely distributed environment
Own an escalation, demonstrate leadership and be the designated point of contact for the Technical Escalation Process
Serve as the technical escalation lead, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and vendor support
Automate operational tasks using scripting and orchestration tools
