Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the visual strategy for a prestigious global brand in Japan
  • Assist in developing and executing impactful visual merchandising strategies aligned with brand philosophy and local market trends
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement VM guidelines across retail stores, wholesale, and other channels
  • Adapt global VM concepts to suit local customer preferences and market needs
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of seasonal resets, product launches, and new store concepts
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams (including creative agencies) to ensure efficient implementation of VM activities
  • Support the development of in-store communication programs
  • Assist in managing the VMD budget and resources

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in visual merchandising within a luxury retail or branded food environment
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience adapting global concepts to local markets
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills (Japanese and English)
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
