Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate, energetic, and enthusiastic Visual Merchandising Specialist who, based on IKEA visual and verbal identity, takes responsibility for implementing creative solutions that inspire and surprise store visitors, thus contributing to the perception of uniqueness and consistency of the IKEA brand among consumers in the local market. The Communication & Interior Design function in which this profile is placed contributes to the positioning of the IKEA quale brand “leader in living the home”. Through the layout of our environments, range presentation and graphic communication inspire and surprise our visitors, helping to transform them into passionate customers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Contribute to the creation of exhibition spaces that reflect a variety of styles, living situation and different price levels, so as to create a good balance characterized by diversified visual impressions
  • Study the layout of exhibition spaces in relation to customer flow, with the aim of encouraging and simplifying the purchasing process
  • Present the IKEA product assortment in all its breadth, maximizing its commerciality
  • Contribute to the implementation of the designed layouts and the contents of the action department plan with initiatives that promote company growth and profitability long-term
  • Manage the implementation and creation of seasonal settings
  • Take care of different media in order to create a strong visual impact that surprises and inspires the customer.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of at least 2 year in the field of Visual Merchandising
  • Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or similar, master's or schools of postgraduate specialization with a specific focus
  • You can clearly visualize and present your ideas, by placing attention to detail and aesthetics
  • Passion and expertise in interior design, knowledge of trends and the styles that influence the furniture sector
  • Ability to generate innovative ideas and influence with simple solutions and practices, combining passion for aesthetics and design with commercial skills of sector
  • Knowledge of the main graphic design and layout software, but specifically by Revit
  • Good knowledge of the English language.
