As (Senior) Visual Merchandising Project Manager you are responsible for leading the development, execution, and optimisation of visual merchandising concepts and instore communication tools across all offline locations. Acting as the key interface between internal teams and external suppliers, the position ensures that brand identity is consistently translated into impactful point-of-sale (POS) solutions and in-store communication strategies. You work closely with a highly talented, dynamic and diverse team in Munich and across Germany. This position is unlimited and located in Munich.
Job Responsibility:
Manage multiple VM projects end-to-end, ensuring clear planning, prioritisation and strong execution
Own project plans, timelines, risks and deliverables across all VM initiatives
Lead budgets and cost optimisation, including supplier negotiations
Drive the full lifecycle of POS solutions and print materials, from concept to rollout
Coordinate external suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring quality and timely delivery
Act as the central point of contact and provide regular status updates to management
Ensure smooth VM rollouts across stores and develop scalable concepts for future locations
Continuously improve processes, documentation and operational efficiency, leveraging AI where relevant
Requirements:
Strong project management skills with proven ability to handle complex, multi-phase projects ideally within premium/luxury retail environments (home & living or fashion) and/or a background in project management
Demonstrated experience in budget planning, cost control, and supplier negotiation
Experience in managing POS Instore Communication tools and strategies
A proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-driven personality with excellent organizational skills, resilience under pressure, and persistence in driving progress across departments, even in complex environments
Experience in project documentation, reporting and quality assurance processes
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills in German and English, with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset that inspires others
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Asana and Google Suite
