We’re partnering with a leading beauty company to find a talented Visual Merchandising Designer for a temporary role. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative retail environments within a vibrant, creative team. The role is based at a hybrid location in New York, NY, combining in-office collaboration with flexible work arrangements.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and execute creative visual concepts that enhance in-store experiences aligned with brand strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design ideas are implemented effectively across store formats
  • Produce presentation materials to showcase visual concepts and strategies to stakeholders
  • Support the creation of technical guidelines and specifications for retail displays and fixtures
  • Conduct store visits and research to stay updated on current merchandising trends and retail design innovation

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in visual merchandising, store planning, or related fields
  • Strong ability to translate conceptual ideas into impactful visual displays
  • Familiarity with retail environments such as FSS, DS, Open Sell, and SMC
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to align with team and operational needs
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and a 3D modeling/rendering software of choice
