Job Description:

To inspire and surprise visitors by presenting and communicating the IKEA home furnishing offer with strong visual impressions that exceed visitors’ expectations and strengthen the IKEA Brand. The role involves creating store solutions for easy shopping and increased vitality based on consumer behaviour and local market knowledge.

Job Responsibility:

Use visual merchandising competence to strengthen the IKEA identity
Contribute to departmental action plans and execute initiatives
Implement inspiring, affordable, and commercial range presentation solutions
Respect routines and responsibilities, and maintain safety awareness
Exploit commercial opportunities and understand financial impact
Apply proven solutions and best practices to ensure quality and efficiency
Gather insights and translate into inspiring store solutions
Generate creative directions to surprise and inspire visitors

Requirements:

Range presentation the IKEA way
Home furnishing the IKEA way
Understand life at home in the local market and the outcome of market research
The work method for presenting the IKEA range
The IKEA Concept and IKEA Brand objectives
IKEA's mechanical sales system
Understand trends that influence home furnishing and retailing
Commercial calendar and store activities
Commercial lighting
Store communication

Nice to have:

Knowledge of consumer buying behaviour
Ability to plan and implement range presentation solutions that meet individual tastes
