As a Visual Merchandising & Activity Co-worker, you use visual merchandising expertise to strengthen the uniqueness of the IKEA identity through range presentation in-store, working with store layout, range presentation and vitality.

Job Responsibility:

  • Contribute to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market
  • Transform market knowledge into inspiring, affordable home furnishing solutions in the IKEA way, reflecting a wide variety of styles and price levels while meeting and exceeding customers’ needs and lifestyles
  • Use visual merchandising expertise to strengthen the uniqueness of the IKEA identity through store layout, range presentation and vitality
  • Deliver visually impactful presentations with a focus on quality, simplicity and cost-consciousness, guided by country direction and supported by global tools and best practices at IKEA
  • Actively contribute to business initiatives and action plans by sharing ideas and collaborating closely across teams to bring plans to life
  • Stay curious and observant, and actively contribute to the implementation of the store’s commercial calendar

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of proven work experience in a similar role
  • Education in visual merchandising, industrial design, or an art/design field
  • Personal values that strongly reflect the IKEA values
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, future-oriented retail environment with the IKEA product range
  • Understand market trends and consumer behavior, and translate these insights into effective IKEA presentation solutions
  • Able to prioritise multiple projects and tasks effectively, demonstrating a flexible, hands-on approach and consistently delivering results on time in a fast-paced retail environment
  • A passionate, proactive team player, and confident communicator who engages effectively with diverse stakeholders and delivers clear, structured presentations across various situations

  • Comfortable working in both Korean and English
