Job Responsibility:
Contributing to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market
Providing home furnishing solutions for a single product or a combination of products to improve people’s life at home
Demonstrating the uniqueness of the IKEA product range through your visual merchandising competence and techniques in different displays in store to distance us from the competition
Engaging others through the ability to visualise and present a commercial idea
Working with new and unique display concepts to motivate people to visit the IKEA store more frequently
Constantly on the move in the store to successfully implement your tasks and duties
Requirements:
Passionate the work of implementing your designs from a sketch into reality, as you are a practical and hands on individual, with proven ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
Able to complete repetitive physical tasks with a safety first mindset
Curious and driven to understand home furnishing and people’s everyday life at home, grasping the fundamentals of visual merchandising principles
A creative thinker, with commercial visual competence and a keen eye for aesthetics
A competent team player that has excellent communication skills
Nice to have:
Experience with programs such as REVIT
Design qualification
Previous Visual Merchandising experience
Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud & Microsoft Office
