Job Description:

IKEA Brighton are looking to welcome a Visual Merchandiser to the new store team. We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented individual to enhance our brand new store's visual appeal and drive sales. As a Visual Merchandiser, you will be responsible for arranging merchandise to highlight key products and ensuring our store layout is both attractive and functional.

Job Responsibility:

Use visual merchandising competence to strengthen the uniqueness of the IKEA identity in range presentation solutions
Work with store layout, range presentation and vitality
Understand the local market to plan and implement relevant, inspiring, affordable and commercial range presentation solutions
Collaborate with the Com&In team and other functions
Act quickly to exploit commercial opportunities
Understand the impact of actions on the financial results
Work with the commercial calendar to implement range changes
Maintain the shop floor and ensure displays ready for customer to browse

Requirements:

Qualification in a relevant creative field
Working knowledge in design software such as Autodesk REVIT, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
Excited about home furnishings, design and how people live
Ability to generate new ideas to inspire customers
Hands-on approach, feeling at ease working with various hand tools
Comfortable working at heights
