Job Description:

A Visual Merchandiser at IKEA designs and maintains attractive product displays, implements store layout plans, collaborates on merchandising strategies, and stays updated on home furnishing trends.

Job Responsibility:

Use visual merchandising competence to strengthen the uniqueness of the IKEA identity in range presentation solutions
Work with store layout, range presentation and vitality
Understand the local market to plan and implement relevant, inspiring, affordable and commercial range presentation solutions
Collaborate with the Communication & Interior Design team and other functions
Work with the commercial calendar to implement range changes

Requirements:

Degree/experience in a relevant creative field
Working knowledge in design software such as Autocad, REVIT or Adobe Creative Suite
Excited about home furnishings, design and how people live
Ability to generate new ideas to inspire customers
Hands-on approach, comfortable working with various hand tools and at heights
Happy to work around the shopfloor
