Job Description:

Visual Merchandiser role at IKEA Marsden Park, responsible for creating inspiring displays and home furnishing solutions to enhance customer experience and drive store visits.

Job Responsibility:

Demonstrating uniqueness of IKEA product range through visual merchandising techniques
Engaging others by visualising, planning, and presenting commercial ideas
Providing home furnishing solutions to inspire and improve people's life at home
Contributing to positioning IKEA store as first choice for home furnishing
Working with new display concepts to motivate store visits
Implementing and maintaining displays throughout the store

Requirements:

Design qualification with professional experience
Equivalent years of professional visual merchandising experience
Experience using design programs such as REVIT and/or Sketch Up
Ability to plan and implement designs from sketches into reality
Passionate about home furnishing and people's lives at home
Creative thinking, commercial visual competence and keen eye for design
Active, practical, hands-on individual
Proven ability to plan and organise time to meet deadlines in fast-paced retail environment
Strong stakeholder management and effective communication at all levels
