As a Visual Content Designer - Chemistry, you will work closely with content writers and production teams to produce high-quality visual designs for educational materials. Your work will span animated and static visual design content, ensuring that complex concepts are communicated effectively. A strong understanding of senior secondary chemistry (VCE highly preferred) is essential, as you'll be responsible for accurately representing chemical concepts in visual form. You'll create engaging visuals that assist student learning, deliver high-quality work efficiently, and reinforce our brand.
Job Responsibility:
Create high-quality visuals that help students learn, support our goals, and reflect our brand
Use your excellent chemistry knowledge to turn tricky topics into simple, engaging content that makes learning enjoyable without losing accuracy or academic rigour
Design with reusability in mind - think scalable layouts, templates, animations and illustrations
Stay organised and on track. Prioritise well, meet deadlines, and keep your work sharp
Work closely with Content Creators to bring online courses to life with great visuals, videos and written content
Get involved in team chats, brainstorms and design reviews to help keep our standards high
Requirements:
Strong design skills, especially in layout, colour, typography and visual storytelling
Excellent content knowledge of VCE-level chemistry
A sharp eye for consistency and detail while creating visually cohesive and compelling designs
Confident with design tools, video editing and project management platforms
Experience creating content for digital platforms, especially video and web images
Comfortable working within brand guidelines and helping shape them
Great at working with others and explaining your ideas clearly
You love education and can demonstrate a solid knowledge of high school chemistry, particularly VCE-level
You’ve studied design or have hands-on experience in a design-related role
