Job Description:

Sandvik Mining and Construction Oy is a leading provider of mining equipment and tools, as well as maintenance and technical services. Its products include drilling equipment, mechanical excavation equipment, crushers, and loading and transport equipment. We are also a provider of digital mining technologies that develop solutions for both the underground and above-ground mining industries. We operate in several locations in Finland. Tampere site (Myllypuro) is Sandvik's largest unit in Finland, employing approximately 1.700 people. Tampere Office Services are enabling a smooth, safe and comfortable working environment and supporting the everyday life of the site staff and visitors. We are looking for a full-time, service-minded and productive Visitor Coordinator to join our current team, to support the organization and manage the site visits.

Job Responsibility:

  • Overall management of visits at Tampere site
  • Coordinating all incoming visitor groups to ensure efficient visit flow
  • Acting as a liaison between key stakeholders, ensuring smooth collaboration
  • Managing documents and materials related to the visits
  • Collecting and analysing visitor feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement of the visitor experience
  • Main user of the visitor management system
  • Actively monitoring and developing structure of Tampere site visits
  • Actively monitoring and developing visiting practices and processes, including visitor profile paths
  • Actively monitoring and developing visitor experience, including production and testing facilities, and other premises
  • Actively monitoring and developing internal visitor protocols by guiding and inducting internal stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Development-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to foster productive cooperation
  • Fluency in both Finnish and English
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, even in a busy environment
  • Education supporting success in the role
  • Previous experience in similar type of tasks
