Job Description

This full-time faculty position is on-campus and in-person. The College of Education at Texas Christian University invites applicants for a full-time Visiting Lecturer position in Counseling and Human Services for both on-campus, in-person teaching and online instruction. This is a one-year, full-time, non-renewable position beginning in August 2026. The teaching load is no more than 4 courses per semester in areas such as orientation, counseling diverse populations, counseling interventions, and internship.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in Counselor Education (preferably from a CACREP-accredited program)

  • Teaching experience in counseling
  • Online teaching experience preferred
  • Commitment to fostering collaborative relationships with students
  • Commitment to excellence in graduate-level instruction emphasizing preparing future counselors
