Job Description:

This full-time faculty position is on-campus and in-person. The English Department of Texas Christian University invites applicants for full-time Visiting Lecturer positions for on-campus, in-person teaching. This is one-year, full-time, non-renewable position. The teaching load is 4 courses per semester, primarily in composition, but also possibly in literature, creative writing, or any combination of the three. We invite applicants to demonstrate in their application materials how they might contribute to the department's core mission of providing a socially just literacy education.

Requirements:

  • teaching experience in one or more of the indicated fields
  • demonstrated commitment to and excellence in undergraduate instruction.
