Job Description

As a Visiting Associate Consultant at BCG, you'll play a pivotal role in collaborative teams, identifying, developing, and implementing solutions for client challenges. You’ll embark on a journey of exploration and innovation, pushing the boundaries to drive impactful change. Our Visiting Associate role is offered with a fixed full-time contract which concludes with a permanent Associate offer upon successful completion.

Job Responsibility

  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams to address client challenges during the span of 10-13 weeks
  • Analyze data, formulate hypotheses, and develop actionable recommendations
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, presenting results and driving implementation

Requirements

  • Ongoing Bachelor's (2nd and 3rd year) or 1st year Master's
  • Strong analytical skills for quantitative problem-solving, paired with high attention to detail
  • Critical thinking skills to evaluate information, make informed decisions, and develop innovative solutions
  • Comfortable working in dynamic environments with different projects for you to work on
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and proficiency in Czech/Slovak
  • Ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams and adapt to changing environments

  • Analyze division sales, payroll, and controllable expense performance and take appropriate actions to achieve or surpass the annual business plan
  • Develop annual sales and payroll budgets and other expense line items and communicate goals to Regional Managers
  • Analyze division’s short- and long-term staffing issues and align recruiting and training efforts to ensure talented, qualified associates are hired and trained properly for the current business year and future years
  • Provide and reinforce an environment that is conducive to all managers developing comprehensive business skills
  • Complete Regional Managers’ performance appraisals that include current year performance discussion, setting the next year’s goals, and identifying developmental opportunities
  • Actively monitor and address the performance of store managers and associates as needed
  • Actively participate in the development of all strategic initiatives and take a leadership role in the development and implementation of short and long-term strategies that impact the business
