Job Description

Inetum is looking for a Virtualization Administrator (Level 2/3 – N2/N3) to manage, optimize, and troubleshoot complex virtualized infrastructures across multiple platforms.

Job Responsibility

  • Implement and support virtualization solutions using VMware, XenServer, or KVM, ensuring optimal performance for critical workloads
  • Design and manage virtual networks, storage, and compute resources, integrating seamlessly with the existing IT landscape
  • Perform patching, upgrades, migrations, and hardening (CIS benchmarks) across virtual environments
  • Monitor system performance and availability, proactively addressing issues to ensure business continuity
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical incidents in a multi-site virtualized environment
  • Automate routine tasks and improve efficiency using PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting
  • Attend and support Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) tests
  • Provide on-call support and ensure SLA adherence for incident resolution
  • Review and resolve support tickets, ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery
  • Document all procedures, configurations, and best practices related to virtualization operations

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in virtualization or infrastructure roles (N2/N3 level)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related area
  • Proficient in VMware, XenServer, or KVM virtualization technologies
  • Solid understanding of virtual network architecture, storage, and compute resource management
  • Experience with system patching, upgrades, migrations, and CIS security hardening
  • Skilled in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex incidents
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with technical and functional teams
  • Fluent in English (B2–C1 level)
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotation

Nice to have

  • Experience with Disaster Recovery Planning and Testing (DRP)
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g. ServiceNow, Jira)
  • Understanding of ITIL practices for change, incident, and problem management
  • Exposure to hybrid cloud or container-based virtualization environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
