Job Description

Full time virtual mental health therapist (licensed or pre-licensed). Join a team dedicated to de-stigmatizing mental health and making it accessible to all in the community. Seeking creative & collaborative humans with a passion for changing mental health care in fun and meaningful ways.

Job Responsibility

  • Offer therapy services for individuals via Telehealth
  • Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create, and implement a treatment plan, and complete ongoing documentation including session progress notes, continual assessments, treatment plan reviews, and any other contact notes according to company guidelines and protocols
  • For Full-Time status, clinicians must maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits completed per week
  • Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
  • Be an advocate for your client by coordinating services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and training

Requirements

  • Have a master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university
  • Have a full VA clinical license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) or be a master's-level supervisee or resident working toward licensure, with the ability to practice independently
  • Experienced in completing psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes
  • Be effective in written and verbal communication skills
  • Be able to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents promptly
  • Have experience and comfort in working with diverse populations
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
  • Experience with children, adolescents, and young adults
  • Proficient in the use of standard office technology (computers, e-mail, etc.) and Electronic Health Record systems (experience with Valant a plus)
  • Ability to pass a background check

Nice to have

  • Experience with adults and teens
  • Ideal candidates will have general knowledge of therapy services provided in an outpatient setting, community resources, and insurance billing
  • Certified in specialty treatment modalities
  • Fluent in a language in addition to English a plus
