Job Description

Atrium Health, one of the most comprehensive public, not-for-profit healthcare systems in the nation, is actively recruiting a nurse practitioner or physician assistant for Virtual Sleep Health at Atrium Health. This position includes treatment and management of sleep patients with a focus on OSA in the ambulatory virtual setting.

Job Responsibility

  • Treatment and management of sleep patients with a focus on OSA in the ambulatory virtual setting
  • Obtain a medical history
  • Virtual exam
  • Document findings and prepare a plan of care including prescribing medications and ordering appropriate tests/procedures
  • Participate and contribute to group/practice meetings, development of policies and procedures, and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program
  • Nurse practitioners are required to have a master’s degree or doctorate in nursing practice
  • Certification from a nationally recognized certifying body is required
  • Physician Assistants with certification from the National Commission on Certification of PAs is required
  • >2 years of APP sleep experience preferred
  • North Carolina license
  • North Carolina DEA
