Job Description

In order to support the Materials and Processes Department for coatings, Airbus Helicopters is looking for a VIE within Materials and Processes - Coatings department (d/f/m). You are a highly motivated graduate and want to get to know the work of a Materials and Processes Engineer? Then apply now! We look forward to you supporting us as a Volunteer for International Experience.

Job Responsibility

  • Contribute to the evaluation and qualification of Cr-free alternative primers
  • Coordinate the test program schedule and resources
  • Manufacture necessary test samples
  • Execute all required tests and analyze the results
  • Prepare documentation
  • Serve as the central point of contact, collaborating with the design office, production teams, the testing laboratory, and external paint suppliers

Requirements

  • Preferably Master degree in aerospace engineering, material science, or similar
  • Basic knowledge in the field of material testing
  • English: business fluent
  • German and French would be a plus
  • Strong ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proactively drive projects forward
  • Practical, technical and organizational skills
  • Ability to build up a network within AH and selected external entities (universities, companies)
