Job Description:

LA-based social media videographer/editor/producer to join the US Brand Partnerships team, creating socially native videos for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Youtube for a highly engaged audience within the Secret Media Network and for globally-recognized brands

Job Responsibility:

  • Shoot and edit a wide range of social-first video content
  • Quickly create assets and proactively experiment with different versions of an edit
  • Create polished final video assets with coloring, sound mix, voiceover, and captions
  • Identify exciting potential video/photo topics for Brand Partnership clients
  • Plan interviews, storyboards, scripts, and potential castings
  • Know the latest social media trends and be able to jump on them quickly

Requirements:

  • 4+ years proven experience in working on high-quality scripted and unscripted video
  • Bachelor's degree or similar in Film, Design, Communication or related field
  • Confidence in writing video copy/scripts and full video treatments
  • Social media content creation skills (TikTok/Reels to Youtube)
  • Creative agency background is a huge plus
  • Interest in latest trends in social media and digital video platforms
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Willingness to work outside office hours and tight deadlines when necessary
  • Passionate about city life and the topics covered at Secret Media
  • Excellent understanding of digital media trends
  • A can-do person who takes on tasks proactively
  • Interest in travel to key US and CA markets - valid passport required
  • Creative videographer and editing skills
  • Advanced knowledge of After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Media Encoder
  • Comfortable creating video and still imagery using digital cameras (Sony Alpha series, GoPro, iPhone, etc.)
  • Motion graphics and titling experience
  • Confidence in ability to create diverse video formats
  • Knowledge of digital media including codecs, image types, resolutions, frame rates
  • Experience conducting on-camera interviews
  • Understanding of basic color-correction, basic sound design and mixing
