Are you passionate about crafting creative media content that leaves a lasting impact? Do you have a talent for videography and editing? This a great opportunity to join a globally renowned university and contribute to the future of online education. Joining the UAL Online production team as a Videographer and Editor, you’ll collaborate with our talented team to produce innovative, accessible, and visually captivating video and audio content across various subject areas including art, design, and fashion. This will include involvement in all stages of media briefs, from development to delivery, showcasing your strong skills in pre-production, production, and post-production. Your work will encompass a variety of media types, including pieces to camera, interviews, process videos, podcasts, and student showcases. The content you create will serve as essential teaching and learning materials as well as for student support, induction, marketing, and social media content, inspiring and empowering our students to excel in their creative practices and thrive in their courses.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborate with the UAL Online production team to produce innovative, accessible, and visually captivating video and audio content across various subject areas including art, design, and fashion
  • involvement in all stages of media briefs from development to delivery
  • produce pieces to camera, interviews, process videos, podcasts, and student showcases

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level, preferably in a media production subject, or with equivalent media industry experience
  • expertise in planning, recording, and editing various types of high-quality video and audio materials
  • ability to operate specialist media equipment such as cameras, video lights, lenses, and microphones
  • effective communication and collaboration skills
  • ability to manage own time efficiently to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of production
