Our client is seeking a Producer to join their team. They are seeking candidates with extensive experience producing short-form content, particularly social media content. The Video Producer is responsible for leading the development and execution of video content from concept to completion. You will conduct discovery calls, pre-interviews, and on-camera interviews, capturing powerful, authentic moments that reflect a shared vision in new and engaging ways. The Producer will ideate, shoot, produce, and drive content awareness across all digital platforms. The role is focused on content creation, short-form video, and storytelling tailored to various scales and locations. The ideal candidate will have a broadcast journalism background-someone who can write a story, film a story, and piece the story together (storyboarding) for social events, campaigns, web, and internal channels. This is a hybrid, contract position that has the opportunity to become permanent.
Job Responsibility:
Production Management: Develop written briefs and oversee all aspects of video shoots
Manage all video and audio content from pre-production through post-production
Rapid Delivery: Produce fast-turnaround content from live events or breaking news moments
Technical Execution: Operate and maintain video equipment
Manage live streaming for events
Conduct and film interviews and b-roll in single-camera configurations
Post-Production & Motion: Blend video and graphical elements using Adobe After Effects to enhance visual standards
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal departments to gather requirements for upcoming projects and ensure alignment with organizational communication objectives
Strategic Assets: Produce modular, impactful video assets that can be easily repurposed across various platforms
Track and report on performance metrics and ROI
Brand Stewardship: Adhere to visual brand and technical quality standards to ensure consistency across the whole organization
Asset Management: Manage video archives and organize footage
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in Communications and/or Broadcast Journalism with a minimum of 8+ years in video production
Ability to prioritize and address multiple concurrent projects with varying production timelines and asynchronous workflows
In-depth knowledge of multimedia production best practices, contemporary technologies, and professional terminology
Ability to design motion graphics or animated overlaps that enhance storytelling
Creative, collaborative, and proactive problem-solver with strong interpersonal communication skills
Advanced attention to detail regarding media management and file structures
Occasional travel required for hosted events, industry conferences, and media opportunities (approximately 15-20%)
