Job Description:

The Video Producer / Editor creates emotionally engaging, visually striking video content that brings Techland’s worlds to life. As a core creative partner within our marketing team, you’ll transform gameplay, cinematics, and developer insights into compelling stories across trailers, teasers, developer diaries, and campaign assets. This role combines creative storytelling, technical excellence, and production discipline. Working closely with the Marketing Art Director, Brand, and Product teams, you will plan, capture, and edit high-quality video content for Dying Light and future Techland titles. Through your work, you will help define how Techland’s worlds are first experienced, remembered, and shared.

Job Responsibility:

  • Owning the full video production process from concept development, storyboarding, and capture direction to editing, sound design, and final export
  • Capturing or directing in-game footage that supports marketing and creative goals
  • Editing trailers, teasers, and gameplay videos with strong cinematic and emotional storytelling
  • Overseeing post-production elements, including color grading, motion graphics, and sound design
  • Developing and maintaining efficient editing workflows, templates, and asset libraries
  • Managing multiple concurrent projects and deadlines while still focusing on high quality standards
  • Collaborating with localization, platform, and cross-functional teams to meet global requirements
  • Working with external partners and vendors when necessary, providing creative direction and quality control for outsourced video production
  • Contributing creative ideas during campaign planning to elevate each major marketing beat

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in video production or editing, ideally within gaming, film, or entertainment marketing
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition
  • Strong understanding of cinematic storytelling, pacing, and emotional rhythm
  • Proven ability to translate creative briefs into visually compelling narrative sequences
  • Experience with in-engine capture tools and real-time rendering workflows
  • Excellent sense of sound design and timing, with a strong visual ear for music and mood
  • Meticulous attention to detail, balancing creativity with precision
  • Very good command of English

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Unreal Engine capture pipelines or cinematic tools
  • Familiarity with motion graphics and visual effects compositing
  • Experience directing live-action or hybrid live/CG video productions
  • Passion for video games, cinematic storytelling, and crafting memorable visual experiences that connect players emotionally to the world
What we offer:
  • A wide array of benefits: private medical care, life insurance, pro-health campaigns, gifts for different occasions
  • An outstanding work atmosphere in a highly-skilled team of professionals, with flexible working hours, no dress code, and full support of the dedicated HR Business Partner
  • Many opportunities for personal development: a dedicated development budget for each employee, extra two paid days for training and CSR, stable career paths, extensive internal and external training, and financing of English and Polish language classes
  • State-of-the-art offices filled with chillout zones, a fully equipped kitchen, a gym (Wrocław office), and a free car park (Warsaw limited amount of space)
