The Video Producer / Editor creates emotionally engaging, visually striking video content that brings Techland’s worlds to life. As a core creative partner within our marketing team, you’ll transform gameplay, cinematics, and developer insights into compelling stories across trailers, teasers, developer diaries, and campaign assets. This role combines creative storytelling, technical excellence, and production discipline. Working closely with the Marketing Art Director, Brand, and Product teams, you will plan, capture, and edit high-quality video content for Dying Light and future Techland titles. Through your work, you will help define how Techland’s worlds are first experienced, remembered, and shared.
Job Responsibility:
Owning the full video production process from concept development, storyboarding, and capture direction to editing, sound design, and final export
Capturing or directing in-game footage that supports marketing and creative goals
Editing trailers, teasers, and gameplay videos with strong cinematic and emotional storytelling
Overseeing post-production elements, including color grading, motion graphics, and sound design
Developing and maintaining efficient editing workflows, templates, and asset libraries
Managing multiple concurrent projects and deadlines while still focusing on high quality standards
Collaborating with localization, platform, and cross-functional teams to meet global requirements
Working with external partners and vendors when necessary, providing creative direction and quality control for outsourced video production
Contributing creative ideas during campaign planning to elevate each major marketing beat
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in video production or editing, ideally within gaming, film, or entertainment marketing
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition
Strong understanding of cinematic storytelling, pacing, and emotional rhythm
Proven ability to translate creative briefs into visually compelling narrative sequences
Experience with in-engine capture tools and real-time rendering workflows
Excellent sense of sound design and timing, with a strong visual ear for music and mood
Meticulous attention to detail, balancing creativity with precision
Very good command of English
Nice to have:
Experience with Unreal Engine capture pipelines or cinematic tools
Familiarity with motion graphics and visual effects compositing
Experience directing live-action or hybrid live/CG video productions
Passion for video games, cinematic storytelling, and crafting memorable visual experiences that connect players emotionally to the world
