Job Description

We are looking for a Video Producer/Editor to join our team, helping to create work that makes a real difference on social issues. The Video Producer/Editor will be a hands-on creative thinker and will take responsibility for ideating and creating engaging, innovative video content.

Job Responsibility

  • Editing a constant flow of short videos
  • Generating ideas and creative concepts as part of wider campaign brainstorms within the internal project teams
  • If needed, scripting and carrying out archive research
  • Finishing videos to a high technical standard
  • Creating motion graphics as needed

Requirements

  • Extensive professional experience in using video editing software – Premiere Pro/Final Cut Pro (Premiere preferred)
  • Good motion graphics skills (Adobe AfterEffects)
  • Strong script writing skills (desirable)
  • Experience of a news/documentary environment preferred (eg producing social content for a news organisation)
  • Motivated self-starter, flexible and adaptable to change
  • Eastern European languages preferred, but not essential
  • Comfortable developing content and communicating in English
  • This is a UK-based role (London preferred)

Nice to have

  • Eastern European languages preferred
  • Strong script writing skills (desirable)
  • Experience of a news/documentary environment preferred
