In this role, you will help create video content across Brixton Jamm and our wider content portfolio, with a particular focus on short form video for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other key social channels, alongside longer form content where appropriate. The role will focus on the areas deemed best fit for your skill set and knowledge base. This is a collaborative, fast paced role that requires proactive working and regular communication with designers, promoters, and the wider marketing team. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute ideas, engage with music and cultural trends, and take ownership of tasks rather than waiting for direction, in order to deliver engaging and culturally relevant video content.
Job Responsibility:
To support the content creation for social media and marketing plan for our events and wider content portfolio
To create & edit unique and effective content to use cross-platform
To create content for organic and paid social media
To be aware of current trends, suggest and develop on culturally relevant content creation
To contribute to the venue’s social media, adapting to trends and internal information
Creative content production from simple graphics to Reels using appropriate tools like InShot, Adobe, Canva (no experience required, but a keenness to learn)
Make additions to the the content calendar with great attention to detail and with up-to- date industry knowledge inputted
Due to the nature of our group of venues and brand, from time to time, your role will also include work on other brands and roles within the company as requested by your line manager or the management team
Using relevant industry software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, Premier, After Effects to create visual designs
Requirements:
16+ years old
English & maths GCSE or equivalent grade above C/4
Nice to have:
Live music industry & or hospitality and contacts within it
Marketing & PR
Social media management
An active interest in music, nightlife, festivals, and contemporary culture
