Cella by Randstad Digital is seeking a highly organized and strategic Video Art Director / Producer to drive the end-to-end development of video content for our client. This role functions effectively as a specialized Project Manager who ensures the 'machine keeps going' by overseeing pre-production, production, and post-production workflows. You will be responsible for taking or creating briefs and ensuring that all high-quality video outputs—ranging from internal event videos and keynotes to explainers and YouTube shorts—align perfectly with the brand’s goals and creative vision. Working in an in-house agency capacity, you will manage relationships with external agencies and collaborate across multiple departments to ensure all stakeholders are aligned. This is a high-volume role requiring the ability to manage 4–6 projects simultaneously while maintaining a deep understanding of how brand tone, voice, and look-and-feel impact technical content. This is a 12-month contract role that is fully remote for candidates located within Canada.
Job Responsibility:
Project Leadership (80% of Role): Serve as the primary driver for video projects, managing the 'start-to-finish' lifecycle of content creation
Creative Production & Editing (20% of Role): Utilize a secondary skillset in editing and animation to support production needs or generate quick turns using the Adobe stack
Brand Stewardship: Conduct brand and content reviews for all video assets to ensure they meet internal standards for tone and visual identity
Stakeholder & Agency Management: Own relationships with external agencies and internal departments, acting as the central point of contact
Technical Content Subject Matter Expertise: Quickly get up to speed on source documentation to understand and translate technical content related to digital infrastructure, SaaS, and Data Centres
Resource Coordination: Participate in resource allocation and project planning
drive the budget and resourcing needs for assigned projects
Production Logistics: Organize and lead pre-production meetings, identify legal or clearance concerns, and troubleshoot challenges
Requirements:
In-House Agency Experience: Proven experience working within an in-house agency or corporate video production team
Project Management Excellence: Demonstrated ability to manage 4–6 video projects at a time, moving them from brief through to final delivery
Technical Proficiency: Mastery of Adobe Premiere and After Effects for editing and animation, as well as the Microsoft Office suite
Agile Mindset: The ability to be agile and quickly understand technical source documentation in a fast-paced environment
Portfolio Requirement: A portfolio that showcases projects you have driven for enterprise-level clients
Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with SmartSheets or Asana, and collaboration tools such as Frame.io and Miro
Industry Knowledge: Previous experience or a strong interest in the digital infrastructure, SaaS, or Data Centre sectors
Educational Background: A degree in Design, Film, or Creative Writing
