As Vice President of Wellness, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and elevating Rosewood Hotel Group’s global wellness strategy. You will lead the development of innovative wellness concepts, facilities, and services that enhance guest experience, drive brand preference, and contribute to revenue growth. This role will champion excellence in design, delivery, and operations across all wellness touchpoints, ensuring alignment with the brand’s luxury positioning and cultural sensitivity.
Job Responsibility:
Lead initiatives to position RWHG as a global leader in wellness and lifestyle, driving brand differentiation and preference
Oversee the design and development of wellness facilities including gyms, spas, pools, resort recreation, and children’s areas
Guide service and performance standards across wellness areas, supporting properties in maximizing revenue and guest satisfaction
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and property leadership to ensure cohesive execution of wellness strategies and pre-opening support
Recommends and assists in ROI projections for wellness renovations, working with the operator and design & project services teams
Identifies and develops wellness talent, both through internal and external resources
Assists with on-site co-ordination pre-opening, and guides the wellness team through the pre-opening phase
Gives input and direction to training needs across wellness areas, ensuring they are comprehensive and leading market trends
Is a mentor to wellness team members and ensures that key personnel are actively integrated with the senior on property management team
Assesses and reviews revenue streams across the properties wellness areas, providing support to ensure these are being maximised
Assists hotels in the development of a marketing plan, working in conjunction with sales & marketing and brand communications, as necessary
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of luxury spa or wellness experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
Strategic mindset with strong business acumen and the ability to drive profitability and brand positioning through wellness
Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to coach, mentor, and collaborate across all levels of the organization
Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or equivalent preferred
deep understanding of hotel operations and their interface with wellness
