Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile individual to join our APAC Derivatives Market Making team in a Techo Functional role. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate directly with business and partnering functions. It will involve analysis of requirements, coordination of work amongst dev teams, as well as individual work effort to deliver solutions that meet evolving needs across multiple derivatives & market-making business lines.

Job Responsibility:

  • Requirements Analysis: Work closely with traders, quants, risk management, and other stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for derivatives market-making systems and processes
  • Solution Design & Development Support: Translate business requirements into technical specifications, supporting the development team with clear, concise, and actionable insights
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Act as a key liaison between the APAC Derivatives Market Making team and other internal Citi teams
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize SQL skills to query and analyze data, generate reports, and assist in validating system enhancements
  • System Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and assist in the resolution of production incidents
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for requirements, design proposals, processes and system functionalities
  • Testing Support: Assist in the creation of test cases and support user acceptance testing (UAT)

Requirements:

  • 10+ YOE is a mandate
  • Basic proficiency in Java programming
  • Solid understanding and practical experience with SQL for data querying and analysis
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and basic command-line operations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Nice to have:

  • Prior exposure to or a foundational understanding of financial derivatives products (e.g., options, futures, swaps) and market-making concepts
  • Experience working within the financial services industry, particularly in a trading or investment banking context
