Under minimal supervision, uses extensive knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience to successfully develop new relationships and cultivate existing contacts as well as pro-actively and collaboratively lead strategy development to capture and grow new revenues both domestically and internationally. Serves as the Home Office sales contact for Raymond James and leadership desiring to learn about RJIM’s investment strategies and capabilities. Responsible for supporting sales initiatives and collaborating with marketing and distribution to grow sales and assets.
Job Responsibility:
Partners with senior leadership, sales, and marketing to develop and implement initiatives focused on increasing RJIM’s presence and net new assets within Raymond James
Assists senior leadership with implementing a sales and marketing business plan with the goal of maximizing revenues
Leverages data to identify client trends for tactical growth opportunities
Maintains open communication with Raymond James partnership team and clients through all phases of the service process
Manages the process around Raymond James sponsorships, conferences, value add programs and marketing initiatives
Maintains contact with existing clients to ensure that the department’s expectations are being met and to seek to capture additional revenues where possible
Acts as a liaison between existing partners within Raymond James and various internal departments on issues ranging from fees to client services to Due Diligence
Maintains database of manager partner’s resource maps and key contacts
May support marketing campaigns by coordinating call and email campaigns
Reviews and assists with compliance approval for partner firms’ marketing materials
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred, with five (5) to ten (10) years related experience in the financial services industry
SIE, FINRA Series 7, FINRA Series 63 required
Knowledge of the securities industry, specifically asset management, and products
Knowledge of company’s working structure, policies, mission and strategies
Knowledge of broker/dealer operations
Skill in identifying the needs of customers through effective questioning and listening techniques
Skill in organizing, managing and tracking multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment
Skill in preparing and delivering clear, convincing and professional sales presentations to small and large audiences
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels, including senior leadership
