Vice President, Software Development

• Define and execute the software development vision, ensuring alignment with Mujin’s business objectives and product roadmap
• Interface with other business units and translate product and software requirements into actionable plans for development teams
• Create and maintain software specifications that guide development efforts across the organization
• Manage the direction of software growth, ensuring scalability, reliability, and innovation across Mujin’s robotics platform
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to understand needs and incorporate feedback into technical planning
• Lead and mentor managers and leads responsible for developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence
• Champion best practices in software development, including CI/CD, code quality, and robust testing frameworks

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or related field
• 15+ years in software development, with 8+ years in leadership roles managing large, distributed teams
• Proven experience scaling development organizations to 50+ developers in high-growth environments
• Experience creating software specifications and driving technical planning and execution
• Ability to interface with customers and translate business requirements into technical deliverables
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD, software architecture, and quality assurance at scale
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment and make data-driven decisions
• Demonstrated ability to lead multiple engineering managers and global teams, aligning technical execution with business strategy
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and make data-driven decisions
