Job Description

Aurora is seeking a Vice President of Product & Design to lead a team of high performing product and design practitioners through the next phase of our product strategy as we build and scale new solar and storage software solutions across our platform. This role is accountable for collaborating across the organization to set the product vision, market validation, and driving execution in a dynamic and evolving environment.

Requirements

  • 12+ years in product management
  • 5+ years leading product and design teams at a senior level
  • Proven experience building and scaling B2B SaaS products, ideally in complex or regulated industries
  • Has led organizations through significant change while improving and sustaining engagement and performance across Product, Design & Engineering
  • Demonstrated success owning product strategy tied to business outcomes (ARR growth, retention, expansion)
  • Experience leading early-stage or net-new product initiatives, where problems and solutions are not yet fully defined
  • Strong judgment in prioritization, trade-off decisions, and sequencing investments under uncertainty
  • Ability to move between visionary thinking and hands-on execution
  • Comfort with platform-oriented products, including APIs, integrations, and data-driven systems
  • Strong analytical skills and experience defining and acting on product metrics
  • Ability to partner deeply with engineering without needing to be the technical architect
