Vice President, Patient Care Services is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for nursing services across the Baptist South campus. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care, operational excellence, and an exceptional patient experience, while aligning with Baptist Health’s mission and organizational goals.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and exceptional customer service across Baptist South
Provide oversight of all hospital-based nursing management, nursing teams, nursing support full-time equivalents (FTEs), and unit budgets
Serve as a liaison between the Baptist Health system and hospital leadership
Oversee the administrative and organizational functions of nursing services at Baptist Medical Center South
Collaborate with the governing Board, senior leadership, management, medical staff, and clinical departments to fulfill Baptist Health's mission of providing high-quality care through engagement in strategic planning, resource allocation, and evaluation of patient outcomes
Foster effective working relationships with all key stakeholders
Requirements:
Licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
Nurse Executive Board Certified (NE-BC)
Master’s degree required (MBA, MSN, or MHA)
Doctorate preferred (PhD, DNP, or related field)
Certified Nursing Administrator required within two (2) years of hire
