The position is a business ownership, more than a traditional sales management. As "mini-CEO" of the "VP, Passport Readers for Government Sales" business unit, he is responsible for: for the trade and growth strategy; for the development and consistent implementation of a product- and market-driven roadmap, for international market positioning, and for the full fulfilment of the business plan.
Job Responsibility
Full business and commercial (P&L) responsibility of Passport Readers for Government Sales solutions
Developing and implementing an international sales and go-to-market strategy
Creation and disciplined implementation of a commercial and marketing roadmap
Preparation and presentation of senior management and board-level presentations
Delivering on the business plan and growth targets
Leading complex, high-value international negotiations (state and local government organizations, transport authorities, urban transport systems, integrator partners)
Authentic and strong market representation of Passport Readers for Government Sales solutions
Close cooperation with development and production areas
Translate market and customer feedback into strategic and product priorities.
Requirements
Senior sales/business leadership experience in document reader technologies
personal identification or GovTech, knowledge of the operation of government sectors
High-level senior management and board-level presentation skills
Balance strategic thinking and execution discipline
Roadmap-level design and implementation experience
Outstanding negotiation competence in an institutional and public sector environment
Strong business independence, decision-making and responsibility
Confident English language skills and additional foreign languages are an advantage.
