Job Description

The position is a business ownership, more than a traditional sales management. As "mini-CEO" of the "VP, Passport Readers for Government Sales" business unit, he is responsible for: for the trade and growth strategy; for the development and consistent implementation of a product- and market-driven roadmap, for international market positioning, and for the full fulfilment of the business plan.

Job Responsibility

  • Full business and commercial (P&L) responsibility of Passport Readers for Government Sales solutions
  • Developing and implementing an international sales and go-to-market strategy
  • Creation and disciplined implementation of a commercial and marketing roadmap
  • Preparation and presentation of senior management and board-level presentations
  • Delivering on the business plan and growth targets
  • Leading complex, high-value international negotiations (state and local government organizations, transport authorities, urban transport systems, integrator partners)
  • Authentic and strong market representation of Passport Readers for Government Sales solutions
  • Close cooperation with development and production areas
  • Translate market and customer feedback into strategic and product priorities.

Requirements

  • Senior sales/business leadership experience in document reader technologies
  • personal identification or GovTech, knowledge of the operation of government sectors
  • High-level senior management and board-level presentation skills
  • Balance strategic thinking and execution discipline
  • Roadmap-level design and implementation experience
  • Outstanding negotiation competence in an institutional and public sector environment
  • Strong business independence, decision-making and responsibility
  • Confident English language skills and additional foreign languages are an advantage.
