As Shearer’s invests in their talent to further enable profitability, innovation, customer satisfaction, end-to-end cost optimization, and future growth, they are looking to hire a Vice President of Quality. This leader will institutionalize industry leading food safety and quality programs across the supply chain network and ensure that all products meet customer requirements and regulatory compliance.

Job Responsibility

  • Report to the Chief Supply Chain Officer
  • Frequent travel to Shearer’s plants, suppliers, and customers

Requirements

  • Functional Leadership: Experience leading multiple FSQA functions simultaneously, including product quality, product safety, and regulatory compliance
  • Food Safety & Quality Assurance: Comprehensive knowledge of Food Safety (HACCP principals, GMPs, SOPs and SSOPs) and associated standards
  • Audits & Reporting: Document control & internal audits
  • Regulatory: Expert knowledge of related EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations
  • Customer service: Manage all aspects of food safety/quality customer complaints
  • Team Leadership: Foster a high-performance culture, focusing on talent development, recruitment, and retention

  • Own and continuously develop the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring it is robust, scalable and fit for a multi-site, multi-modal CDMO environment
