We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Operations to lead and oversee daily field operations, client service delivery, workforce management, and overall operational performance. This role is critical in driving efficiency, accountability, and business growth, while ensuring excellence in service quality and client satisfaction. Based in Euless, Texas, the position requires a hands-on approach, strong leadership skills, and availability beyond standard business hours due to the nature of the industry.
Job Responsibility:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of six direct reports, including regional and area managers, while overseeing a workforce of approximately 200 indirect reports
Conduct regular site visits to monitor service quality, compliance, and team engagement, maintaining a strong presence in the field
Ensure consistent adherence to company standards, processes, and service delivery protocols across all locations
Address escalated client concerns promptly and professionally, including during non-business hours as required
Collaborate with sales and account management teams to support onboarding of new clients and manage service transitions effectively
Drive operational growth by leveraging expertise in janitorial sales and services, including identifying opportunities for upselling and process improvements
Manage operational budgets, labor costs, and resources to meet financial objectives and enhance profitability
Monitor key performance indicators related to productivity, retention, quality, and safety, implementing strategies for improvement
Develop recruitment, training, and retention plans to build a positive and accountable workplace culture
Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies, while championing the adoption of technology and innovation to improve operations
Requirements:
Minimum of 7–10 years of senior leadership experience in commercial janitorial or facilities services operations
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory
Proven ability to manage large, distributed teams effectively, ensuring high levels of performance and engagement
Strong background in janitorial sales support and service operations, with a focus on driving growth and efficiency
Demonstrated success as a hands-on leader with exceptional communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment requiring responsiveness and adaptability
Experience in managing operational budgets and achieving financial targets
Familiarity with labor laws, safety standards, and compliance protocols relevant to the industry
