The Vice President of Industry Verticals will lead and grow Comcast Advertising’s industry vertical practice, with current focus areas including Media & Entertainment (M&E) and Government & Advocacy (G&A). The VP will manage leaders and individual sellers to grow and develop emerging verticals, inclusive of brand partnerships. This role will be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies, deepening relationships with priority verticals and building a scalable framework to expand into new industry categories. The VP will work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing and Sales Development to position Comcast Advertising as the preferred partner for advertisers seeking innovative, data-driven and multiscreen solutions.
Job Responsibility
Lead and grow Comcast Advertising’s industry vertical practice
Manage leaders and individual sellers to grow and develop emerging verticals
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies
Deepen relationships with priority verticals
Build a scalable framework to expand into new industry categories
Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing and Sales Development
Drive revenue growth
Enhance brand visibility
Ensure alignment with overall business goals
Define the strategy for vertical development
Identify and prioritize opportunities for expansion
Establish KPIs, growth targets and performance metrics
Partner with the Enterprise Agency Sales teams
Grow and develop a team of vertical leads and SME’s
Support enterprise sales efforts with vertical specific insights
Drive relationships with executives within the vertical industries
Develop and manage a discrete list of accounts
Directs executives that are accountable for achieving significant sales targets
Collaborates with top Advertising Sales Executives in setting prices and developing packages
Lead cross-functional collaboration with marketing, product, and finance teams
Negotiates complex deals at top management level
Develops and enforces strategies to maximize revenue
Sets, approves and adjusts major policies and operating procedures
Partners with Sales Development leadership on go-to-market strategies
Identify and pursue new business opportunities
Analyze market trends and competitor activity
Establishes and ensures the execution of short and long-term advertising revenue goals
Represents the Company in advertising sales business community
Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team
Fosters a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration
Motivates, develops and coaches director and management level
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
Generally, 15+ years of related experience
