Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic Vice President of Human Resources to join our team on a contract basis in Chicago, IL. This role demands a results-driven individual with attention to detail to oversee all aspects of human resources while fostering a culture of engagement and growth. The ideal candidate will bring strategic vision and hands-on expertise to lead talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and organizational development.

Job Responsibility

  • Drive recruitment strategies, including sourcing candidates, screening applicants, and managing the full lifecycle of hiring processes
  • Oversee onboarding programs, benefits administration, and initiatives for employee training and development
  • Ensure compliance with employment regulations, manage risk, and handle employee relations with care and integrity
  • Design and implement strategies for talent management, including workforce planning and succession planning
  • Develop and maintain a strong organizational culture through employee engagement strategies and effective communication
  • Manage reporting on HR metrics, employee promotions, and performance evaluations
  • Act as a strategic leader, executing all aspects of human resources operations independently
  • Lead efforts in headcount planning and talent management using tools such as the 9-box model
  • Collaborate with leadership to align HR policies with business goals
  • Monitor and improve processes related to labor relations and employee satisfaction
