Robert Half is partnering with a Milwaukee area client in the recruiting for a strategic and forward-thinking Vice President of Human Resources to lead the development and execution of enterprise HR strategies that support business growth, workforce transformation, and organizational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading strategic HR initiatives, including talent acquisition program redesign, workforce planning, leadership development, HR technology optimization, and change management. Job Responsibility
Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with the organization’s business objectives
Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on talent strategy, organizational design, succession planning, and culture
Lead the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of AI-enabled HR tools and solutions across functions such as talent acquisition, workforce analytics, employee engagement, learning and development, and HR operations
Oversee and transform the talent acquisition function, including redesigning recruiting programs, processes, workflows, employer branding, candidate experience, and selection strategies to improve hiring outcomes
Partner with business leaders to design and implement strategic workforce planning initiatives that address current and future talent needs
Lead HR technology strategy, including HRIS optimization, data governance, reporting, and analytics capabilities
Oversee performance management, employee engagement, leadership development, and retention strategies
Ensure HR policies, programs, and practices are compliant with applicable employment laws and reflect best practices
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing HR team capable of supporting a dynamic and evolving organization
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
advanced degree preferred
Professional certification such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR preferred
10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including senior or executive-level HR roles
Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-wide strategic initiatives within HR
Strong experience with AI applications in HR functions, including talent acquisition, analytics, automation, employee experience, or workforce planning
Proven success in talent acquisition program redesign and recruitment transformation initiatives
Experience leading HR technology implementations and process improvement efforts
Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and change management skills
Knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices
Experience in a complex, fast-paced, or high-growth environment
