We are looking for an experienced Vice President of Human Resources to lead people strategy and build programs that support organizational growth in Camarillo, California for an industrial/manufacturing company. This executive role will guide talent acquisition, employee development, compensation planning, and workplace culture while partnering closely with leadership on business objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, a high level of professionalism, and the ability to create practical HR solutions that strengthen performance, engagement, and compliance.
Job Responsibility:
Shape and direct the company’s human resources strategy to align workforce planning with broader business goals
Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for key positions, including executive and specialized recruiting, to attract high-caliber talent
Oversee learning and development initiatives that help employees expand capabilities and succeed in their roles
Design and manage compensation and benefits programs that support retention and remain competitive in the market
Establish and monitor performance management practices that encourage accountability, fairness, and alignment with organizational priorities
Address employee relations matters by guiding conflict resolution, corrective action processes, and workplace investigations with sound judgment
Champion diversity and inclusion efforts that promote a respectful, equitable, and welcoming environment across the organization
Ensure adherence to employment laws, HR policies, quality standards, and internal procedures while leading the HR team’s day-to-day effectiveness
Maintain an orderly and safe work environment and carry out additional duties as business needs evolve
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication, or a related discipline
8–10 years of progressive experience in human resources leadership, talent management, within a manufacturing/industrial field
Demonstrated background in employee relations, HR administration, onboarding, and benefits oversight
Experience using HRIS platforms and managing HR processes through organized, efficient systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively
Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide teams, build trust, and handle sensitive matters with integrity and maturity
Experience supporting executive recruiting, engineering recruiting, and HR compliance initiatives is strongly preferred
