We design, develop, and manufacture advanced products for ground, maritime, and airborne applications. We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Vice President of Human Resources to lead our people operations. As a key member of the executive team, you will maintain and build a scalable HR infrastructure that supports our growth in the defense sector. You will oversee the full employee lifecycle while ensuring strict compliance with government regulations. This is a "player-coach" role suited for a leader who thrives in a dynamic, small-business environment.
Job Responsibility:
Partner with executive leadership to align HR strategy with business goals, specifically focusing on business capture, proposal support, and scaling for contract wins
Manage all federal reporting and compliance
Design and administer competitive compensation and benefits packages that comply with government cost accounting standards
Collaborate with the Facility Security Officer (FSO) to streamline the onboarding and offboarding of cleared personnel and maintain DCSA compliance
Foster a high-performance culture, manage performance reviews, and resolve complex employee relations issues

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
10+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a government contracting environment
Understanding of FAR/DFARS regulations
Strong proficiency in HRIS implementation and change management
U.S. Citizenship is required
Must be willing and able to obtain a Security Clearance or have active Secret Security Clearance
