Job Responsibility:
Provide strategic leadership and direction to the MVT fleet maintenance teams, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations and industry standards
Reduce MVT’s overall cost of ownership of equipment
Recruit, train, and mentor maintenance staff, cultivating a culture of customer-focused service, technical proficiency, and continuous improvement
Collaborate closely with vendors to establish maintenance protocols, performance metrics, and communication channels that foster a strong partnership
Analyze equipment maintenance data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and enhanced reliability
Ensure the company’s maintenance facilities and equipment are compliant with DOT and OSHA regulations
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business, or a related field is typically required
5+ years in maintenance management, with a proven track record in leadership and operational strategy
Strong technical knowledge of equipment/facilities, proficiency in budgeting software, and excellent project management skills
