Kristin Wasson is seeking an experienced Vice President of Finance to lead the financial strategy and operations of our organization in Oregon. Job Responsibility:
Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies to ensure the organization’s long-term growth and sustainability
Oversee the preparation and execution of annual budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
Manage month-end closing processes and ensure accurate financial reporting to stakeholders
Conduct cash flow forecasting and analysis to support strategic decision-making
Monitor and evaluate financial performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and cost optimization
Lead the development and implementation of efficient budgetary processes
Provide expert guidance on risk management strategies to safeguard organizational assets
Collaborate with the executive team and board to align financial planning with business goals
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards
Foster a culture of financial accountability and continuous improvement across the organization
Requirements:
Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the agriculture industry or related fields
Strong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes
Expertise in managing annual budgets and month-end closing procedures
Demonstrated ability to forecast cash flow and assess financial risk effectively
Familiarity with budget development and optimization processes
Ability to present financial insights to non-financial stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
