We are looking for an experienced and strategic Vice President of Finance & Controller to lead and enhance our client's accounting and finance functions in Suwanee, GA. This role will oversee all financial operations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to the executive team, driving financial strategies and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and mentor high-performing accounting and finance teams, promoting accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Manage daily financial and accounting operations, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives
Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team, focusing on risk management and business growth opportunities
Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
Ensure robust internal controls and maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
Manage external relationships with auditors, tax professionals, and banking partners to ensure favorable outcomes and timely filings
Direct cash flow operations, including forecasting, liquidity analysis, and short-term investment strategies
Optimize working capital by actively managing receivables, payables, and banking operations
Develop and implement financial strategies to support long-term business goals, including advanced financial modeling and trend analysis
Collaborate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance, accurate tax estimates, and strategic tax planning
Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA strongly preferred)
15+ years of progressive financial management experience, including 10+ years in senior leadership
Service industry background preferred
Expertise in financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance
Proven ability to deliver complex financial analysis and translate data into strategic insights
Demonstrated leadership in coaching, developing, and managing teams
Strong communication skills—able to present clear, concise reports and collaborate across all levels
Experience recruiting, developing, and managing high-performing staff
Skilled in analyzing performance data, developing action plans, and understanding contact center KPIs
High integrity, sound decision-making, and ability to maintain confidentiality
Excellent time management, execution, and accountability skills
Strong relationship-building abilities with clients, vendors, and internal teams
Process-oriented, detail-focused, and able to drive improvement initiatives
Passionate about client service and making a positive organizational impact
